Inspired by such creatures, this necklace features Charoite gemstone, which was supposedly first discovered near a river in Siberia. A swirly and multi-toned purple stone, Charoite is said to symbolize transformation and insight, and is known to be valued by mediums and mystics.
The pendant consists of a teardrop-shaped Charoite stone set in swirly hand-hammered and antiqued copper wire. The design is further embellished by copper and glass beads. The pendant hangs from chainmail-inspired bead links of alternating hammered copper and tiny purple glass beads.
The entire piece hangs from copper alloy chain and the necklace is 18.5 inches at its longest, adjustable shorter to any link. The pendant is approximately 2.5 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide. The chain is adorned with a purple fluorite bead that will cascade dramatically down the back of your neck.
This piece is wrapped in copper wire, then carefully antiqued by hand and polished to bring out the organic highlights and lowlights of the beautiful metal.
