The Tempest Ring features a dramatic tourmalated quartz gemstone set in pure copper. Tourmalated quartz is associated with storms, and one might even say that this milky white quartz with black tourmaline flecks also looks like a storm, or a tempest. Some have theorized that the tourmaline inclusions look like lightening frozen in ice.

This is a one of a kind ring and is available in a US size 7.5.

This completely handcrafted ring has a double split shank. The stone is surrounded by a rope-style copper wire decoration. The style has a magical bohemian feel. Perhaps you will slip the ring onto your finger, gaze deep into the gemstone, and predict the weather? Or even summon it.

The ring shank measures approximately 3 mm in the back. The embellished bezel is approximately 20 mm x 15 mm. The tourmalated quartz stone is approximately 15 mm x 11 mm in size. This ring is handcrafted from bare copper wire, soldered, antiqued by hand, and polished to bring out the natural highlights and lowlights of the copper. As with all handcrafted goods and gemstones, small imperfections and variations in tone are to be expected.
