This magical amulet is named after the Celtic Goddess, Rhiannon. Rhiannon has been associated with rebirth, the moon, white horses, and the divine feminine. A Welsh Celtic deity, some say her name translates to Great Queen or Night Queen. Of course, this piece is also, in part, a nod to the magical and mysterious Fleetwood Mac song of the same name. And wouldn't you love to love her…?
This necklace features a stunning larvikite stone suspended in antiqued copper wire, accented with hematite and copper beads, as well as swirls and curls. It embodies Rhiannon’s dark mystery and power. Larvikite is said to help its wearer see into past lives and provide clarity and visions. (I keep my visions to myself….wait, wrong song).
The pendant measures approximately 2.75 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. The pendant hangs from a copper alloy chain that is accented by additional larvikite beads. The necklace is approximately 16 inches long, with a 3-inch extender chain.
This piece is wrapped in bare copper wire, then carefully antiqued by hand and polished to bring out the organic highlights and lowlights of the beautiful metal.
