Hera
Inspired by the Greek Goddess Hera, this dramatic and bold necklace features a large Dumortierite gemstone set in hammered copper wire. The pendant is further embelished with copper and hematite beads.
Hera was known as the goddess of women, the sky, the stars, and the heavens. She was also known to be the queen of the Olympic Gods and Mount Olympus.
Dumortierite is associated with intuition and communication. It is aligned with the throat and third eye chakras.
The pendant measures approximately 2.5 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide. This pendant is sold on a copper alloy chain which is 19 inches at its longest and can be adjusted shorter to any link. The chain is adorned with sodalite and hematite beads, and dangling from the end of the chain is an additional sodalite bead that will cascade dramatically down the back of your neck. Alternate chain lengths may be available upon request.
This piece is wrapped in bare copper wire, then carefully antiqued by hand and polished to bring out the organic highlights and lowlights of the beautiful metal.
