Circe Necklace (Version 2.0)
In Greek Mythology, the Goddess (and sorceress) Circe was also known as the Witch of Aeaea. Truly a goddess of witchcraft, and a solo practitioner of magic, she possessed a powerful connection to the earth, to potion work and herbology, and to the animals of the island, Aeaea, who were both her protectors and her companions. This pendant features an oval red agate stone suspended in antiqued copper wire in a design both strong and magical. This piece captures Circe's essence, her autumnal earthy coloring, and her enchanting and complex nature. The pendant is further adorned with copper and glass beads.
This pendant hangs from a copper alloy chain which is 19 inches at its longest and can be adjusted shorter to any link. The chain is adorned with two styles of red Czech glass beads. The pendant is approximately 2.5 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide. This piece is wrapped in copper wire, then carefully antiqued by hand and polished to bring out the organic highlights and lowlights of the beautiful metal.
