Ceridwen

€75.00

This pendant honors the Celtic Goddess, Ceridwen. It consists of a large oval rose quartz stone, set in hand-hammered antiqued copper, featuring the iconic triquetra symbol, with a small moss agate stone at its center. The bail is further adorned with spirals and swirls.

Ceridwen is the goddess of transformation and rebirth. In Celtic mythology, she is also known to be a very powerful sorceress and witch. She is said to possess powers of prophecy and shapeshifting. Legend tells us that her magical cauldron holds a potion that grants knowledge and inspiration.

The triquetra is an ancient Celtic symbol, just one of many Celtic knots. Through the ages and various cultures, it has been used to represent many things, including the triple goddess, body-mind-spirit, and interconnectedness.

This pendant measures approximately 2.25 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. The pendant hangs from a copper alloy chain that is 18-inches long at its longest point, adjustable smaller to any link. The chain is further embellished with rose quartz beads. Suspended from the chain is another rose quartz bead that cascades dramatically down the back of the neck when worn.

This piece is wrapped in bare copper wire, then carefully antiqued by hand and polished to bring out the organic highlights and lowlights of the beautiful metal.
