Happy Friday the 13th, Magical Folk…Welcome to March! Nature is coming alive again, the local woodlands are getting green, the flowers are popping through the soil, and today is Friday the 13th! This is historically a very lucky day for witches, and women in general. 13 is the number of full moons in a year, closely related to the female cyclical nature, and Fridays are named after the Freya, a powerful goddess of Norse mythology. Friday the 13th is said to enhance intuition, manifestation work, and the potency of feminine power. Did you know that I actually first opened Ravenscraft Jewelry on a Friday the 13th back in April of 2018? The stars aligned and my business was born, which I consider to be very auspicious. This month has also been quite powerful astrologically! We had a major lunar eclipse on March 3rd, during the full blood moon. Mercury is currently in retrograde (a good time to turn inward and do internal work), and it will go direct on Friday, March 20th, the very day of the Spring Equinox, and right on the heels of a New Moon. Talk about some “spring forward” energy! I have been hard at work creating multiple custom pieces, so I don’t have anything brand new to share today, but I will highlight below some of the Springiest of my pieces for sale in my shop.
