This April is filled with potent astrological activity. It’s officially Eclipse season! Just off the heels of a lunar eclipse that wrapped up March, we are now all preparing for the monumental total solar eclipse on April 8th. While this eclipse will be mostly visible in the Americas and not here in Europe, I am quite sure its power will be felt by all. From a metaphysical perspective, eclipses are said to amplify the already-potent energy of the new moon or full moon, creating heightened emotions, intense dreams, and serving as a catalysts for change. Eclipses can be times of great shifts and transformations. To add a bit of spice to the mix, Mercury went into retrograde on April 1st (nature’s April Fools joke, perhaps?). While Mercury in retrograde can get a bad rap in pop culture, it’s actually nothing to be scared of. In fact, it can be a perfect time to turn inward, reflect, and be receptive to your own intuitive powers. Mercury will turn direct again on April 25th, just after the full moon on the 24th. All of this astrological activity might make for a wild ride, so take a breath, center yourself, stay calm, and try to be mindful of each day and each moment.
